Assessing Basic Rehabilitation Services for Elders with Mobility Impairment

چکیده

The current research seeks to examine the basic rehabilitation services for elders with mobility impairment. relied upon a quantitative approach and primary data which was gathered through Drop-Off Pick-Up (DOPU) method. targeted respondents of this study were made up healthcare workers, such as nurses doctors from group hospitals in Zimbabwe. Therapy, assistive technologies, medicine, community-delivered identified To assess effectiveness these services, strength had be tested on successful implementation programs using Structural Equation Model. In addition, regarded independent variables study; while program treated dependent variable. Based findings study, therapy, have positive effect program. recommends that preserve function among elderly ageing individuals, practitioners should promote strategies maximizing by decreasing pain, improving ability self-propel prolonging endurance ergonomics, individualized wheelchair selection configuration, adaptations increasing capacity handle daily demands training, strengthening, exercise.
